1. Purpose
The ice produced by a flake ice machine is relatively moist, with a water content typically between 15% and 25%, slightly below zero degrees Celsius. It has good plasticity, is easy to retrieve and accumulate. The ice formed is amorphous small granular snowflake-like crushed ice that can penetrate narrow gaps, offers fast cooling, and good ice bath effects.
